What Is Hypnotherapy?
Why hypnosis works:
Hypnosis works because your mind is already doing what it thinks you want it to do. So if you can create it, you can uncreate it. Our thoughts create. The belief system is the structure which dictates what we receive, feel, or resist. Most of our belief systems are formed before 7 years old from the influences of our environment and the people around us. This typically means they exist in the blueprint within the subconscious mind (which means you are not aware).
#1 Fear of new clients:
One of the first questions I ask my clients before beginning their session is “How are you feeling about receiving hypnosis?” The most common response I received back was they were afraid of losing control. Ironically, this couldn’t be further from the truth. I can not make you do anything you don’t want to do. Hypnosis gives you massive control in an accelerated simple way. You are guided in a masterful way to lessen resistance, change your limiting points of view, and strengthen your ability to feel good more often.
What to expect in a hypnotherapy session?
The first part of your session will be you sharing with me what is going on and the results you desire to create. Afterwards, you can sit back in a reclined position, close your eyes, listen to calming brain wave music in the background while I give direction to your subconscious mind a new set of instructions. You can hear me the entire time although your focus wanders while in this very relaxed state. It is quite common to look and feel different. You usually leave feeling much better than when you arrived.
